NovaPlay is built to be light. On lower-spec machines you can reduce the resolution and in-game graphics for smooth performance. Make sure hardware virtualization is enabled in your BIOS/UEFI for the best results.

Where it downloads from
The installer and the Android engine come from novaplaycdn.com, NovaPlay's own download server.
First launch
NovaPlay downloads the Android engine (about 2.5 GB). Once installed it takes about 9 GB, so keep around 12 GB free.
Ads
The Windows app shows no ads. The NovaPlay Home screen inside Android shows Google AdMob ads, which is how the app stays free.
Diagnostics
NovaPlay sends anonymous error reports and a once-a-day usage ping: a random install ID, the app version, your Windows version and CPU model. No personal files or account data. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Uninstall
Uninstall NovaPlay from Windows Settings → Apps. The uninstaller asks whether to also delete the Android engine and its data (6–10 GB). If NovaPlay is not listed there, write to us and we will help you remove it.
