This Privacy Policy explains how NovaPlay collects, uses and safeguards information when you visit our website or use the NovaPlay app for Windows. By using the site or the app, you agree to the practices described here.

The NovaPlay app

Diagnostics — the Windows app sends anonymous error reports when something fails (for example, Android does not start) and a once-a-day usage ping. They contain a random install ID generated on your PC, the app version, the result of the last session, your Windows version, CPU model, virtualization and security settings, and excerpts of the app logs with your Windows user name removed. They do not contain your files, your Google account or anything you do inside Android. The setup screen tells you about these reports before you install.

Advertising inside Android — the NovaPlay Home screen that runs inside the emulator uses Google AdMob to show ads and Firebase Analytics to measure usage. Its details are in the NovaPlay Home privacy policy.

Apps you install from Google Play are covered by Google's terms and by each developer's own privacy policy.

Information we collect

Usage data — like most websites, we collect anonymous, aggregated analytics (pages visited, approximate region, device type, referral source) to understand and improve the site.

Cookies and similar technologies — we and our partners use cookies to remember preferences, measure performance, and serve advertising.

Information you provide — if you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can respond.

We do not ask for or store sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under the age required by local law.

Advertising
